When is the Event?
March 21, 2025 at 6:15 PM, allow time for parking as on Friday night there may be congestion. The format will be a double elmination challenge. The duration of the Steel Shoot challenge will be approximately 1 hour, afterwards we will go to Noble Smoke for dinner.
Is there any pre-work?
Before arriving, please make sure you complete the waiver. All particpants must complete the waiver, even if you have previously used the Blackstone Shooting Range. We are limited to using the frangible ammo provided, so no additional ammo is needed. Additionally, if you are bringing 9MM firearms, make sure they are unloaded, and ready for competition. Bring empty magazines and loaders as needed. If you have your own protective equipment, bring that as well. Click here for waiver.
How much does the event cost and what is included?
The cost is $165 per person ($330 per couple), this price includes: - Private shooting bay- Two boxes of 9mm frangible ammo per person- A private instructor and range safety officer- Use of 9mm firearms, if needed- Eye and ear protection, if needed You can pay me directly using one of the methods indicated below at your earliest convenience.
Can I bring Snacks, Food or Adult Beverages?
Unfortunately, no outside snacks, food or beverages are permitted to be brought into the venue.
What will the Steel Shoot evening consist of?
There will be a double elimination challenge for shooting bowling pins, steel targets, and paper targets. [TENATIVE PLAN]
People will compete individually, and will be judged on time and accuracy. Each match will consist of 15 rounds per person.
What is the suggested dress?
Shoes: Close-toed shoes are required, avoid wearing high heels, wear shoes that are comfortable to stand in. Clothing: Something comfortable and loose enough to allow for full range of movement, while not loose enough to be a fire hazard, or allow discarded shells to catch.
